Our mission is the preservation and restoration of the Coquille River Lighthouse.
The Coquille River Lighthouse Keepers Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to raise resources to restore, preserve and maintain the Coquille River Lighthouse. Community and visitor education about the history of the lighthouse and its relationship with the river and ocean.
The Lighthouse is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and is leased to the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department which maintains the lighthouse and conducts ongoing educational activities at the lighthouse. It also administers the Coquille River Lighthouse Trust Fund which will supply local matching funds to some grants raised by the Foundation. The Foundation works closely with and assists the State Parks and Recreational Department as needed.
