Project Updates! The Restoration Project is initiated.

In May 2024, the Coquille River Lighthouse Keepers Foundation formally requested that the Oregon State Parks and Recreation consider our Lighthouse restoration plan as a future project. The project approval process takes around 9 months and requires the support of the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department, who lease the lighthouse, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, who own the lighthouse, along with the Coquille Native American Tribe.
